I've also been experimenting with QR codes as a method to deliver contact information (as opposed to VCards) on client websites, and to give visitors an easy way to access Android Market from my own blog. It has been difficult to gauge the results as I cannot route contact info through bit.ly to get a metric, unless I were to place the QRcode on it's own page.

Love the Iron Man 2 mention though! I didn't notice it until you pointed it out.

Re: Turn on, Record, Send

My contribution. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

Re: Hacking Haiti Donations

Done deal, and what a fantastic way to use your talents to help!!

Re: Hacking Haiti Donations

This is such a wonderful idea. I'm glad I use Macs. Even when something does go wrong, yes it happens... at least the Apple customer service people are nice and seem to know what they are doing. And they're fast. I had a graphic card issue on my Macbook Pro and they replaced it within 3 days. Anyway, Good luck and congrasts on being able to install Windows 7. lol ;-)

Re: The Napkin Stories, Evolved.

His name Rodolfo Montoya, son of Inigo Montoya, still searching out the man who killed his father, whom he will summarily kill. It appears that the B is slowly dissolving while the polygons around the B move around to form a star at the end. Some may say there is too much, but the concept is most surly addressed and done very well.

Re: Project 3

i think that the quality of the design and the composition used on the images are perfect, because
the conbination of all images let the viewer see the relactionship between all the images and the
contrast of them.

Re: Project 3

Brad, I can see the variation of color. I like the way you separated the panels. There is definite balance and perspective. The metamorphosis is evident by your placement of the shape. The shape seems to be flying through the air.

Re: Project 3

Color Critique:

Good amount of color unity. Using similar shades and hues of green gave this project a lot of unity to the design. It made the elements appear to belong together. The use of contrasting colors also allowed certain images especially the letter "B" to pop and make your eye focus on that image. Excellent use of monochromatic colors abd anologic colors.

The relationship is over. There is texture in the background and on the arrows. The values are present with the different hues and saturation of green, magenta, and black. This is a very imaginative piece.

Re: Project 2 [green theme t-shirt]

2. The use of texture helps to distinguish the different patters in the design or the two different recycling symbols. Texture also helps to provide much detail on the green recycling symbol. This detail helps to show the shallow space the symbol resides in to the viewer. The the lighter detail in the background helps to provide a deeper sense of space with less detail as well.

Re: Project 2 [green theme t-shirt]

Q5:

This composition works well as a retro and somewhat stylistically humorous t-shirt, although I would prefer a more centrally balanced graphic, as the allocation of the text constrains the image to a square, which would come across poorly in print graphic. Also, to print this as a t-shirt the file would need to be altered fairly extensively to effectively translate the graphic into a print media, whether POD inkjet or halftone screenprint. For example, the texture, although effective in theme is impractical, though not impossible, for print media. Chiefly the faded drop shadows and the charcoal background would be ineffective in print. A halftone would need be used where fading is expressed and too many layers of print would be needed than would be practically effective.

Re: Project 2 [green theme t-shirt]

The first thing that stands out to me is the green arrows due to their bright complexion. The purple and green go well together, yet the yellow doesn't tend to stand out due to it being a bright color on top of a bright color. Overall, color is used quite well in this composition and is used to reenforce the topic of "green".

Re: Project 2 [green theme t-shirt]

A 'crackled' filter applied to the lime green arrows gives great allusion of texture, almost as if I could feel the roughness or coarseness of the surface. Underneath the green arrows are shadows, used to make them seem as if they were levetating above a second surface. shadows are applied to the text on the page to also give the allusion of floating and three dimensions. The pink-ish arrows in the background add great contrast to the rest of the peice and help create almost a playful mood.

Re: testing google voice voicemail embed

If you just keep requesting they will send you an invite.
